10 Questions With A Hull City Fan

We speak to the webmaster of the Hull City site on Sportnetwork, Black 'n' Amber, before the huge game on Saturday. Tranmere face probably one of the hardest games of the season, and could decide the rest of Tranmere's season.

1.How has life changed for Hull fans since getting promoted ?
A: It's a great time to be a Hull City fan at the moment, we literally hit rock bottom a few years back, but now we're on the up and got some momentum behind us which will hopefully see us into playing in the championship next year.

2.What are your feelings about the new stadium?
A: We're a bit spoilt now for facilities, on occasions I miss the atmosphere standing at a more traditional ground, but you can't beat a beer and skysports on tv at half-time!

3.Who has been your best signing this year?
A: Nick Barmby has been brilliant for us, his work rate and commitment is first class, but recently Leon Cort has been awesome in our defence -nothing gets past him at the moment

4.Who is your best prospect at club? (name 3)
A: Unfortunately we don't see many youngsters breaking into the first team anymore, we buy our talent now, but midfielder Stuart Green is only 22 and has bags of talent, keeper Bo Myhill (22) and Damien Delaney (23) should have good careers ahead of them.

5.Has Peter Taylor turned the club around?
A: PT hasn't achieved hero status with the fans just yet, but that may come. We had been waiting for him to pledge his loyalty because there was a question whether he would leave in the summer to coach the England U-21's full-time, but we're very happy he is signing a new contract.

6.At beginning of season what where your realistic prospects?
A: We knew we had the financial clout to be up there in the play-offs at least, and the chairman has shown he'll do what it takes to get the club into the Championship by splashing the cash again this week.

7. Do you think you have over achieved?
A: To be second at the point in the season is brilliant, though our expectations over the last few years have been raising higher and higher. Some of our fans are hard to please.

8.If you get promoted this season, where do you think you will finish in the Championship?
A: I'd like to think we could hold our own, with a few shrewd signings, and finish mid-table - thinking about that has just given me goosebumps!

9.Who do you think will get promoted this season, automatic and threw play-offs?
A: Luton looks dead certs now and I still fancy us for second. Tranmere or Sheff Wed through the playoffs

10. And finally what will the score be on Saturday, and scorers
A: A 1-1 draw will do very nicely, Fagan to score on his debut!
