Rovers Announce Two Away Friendlies

Following last weeks announcement that Rovers will face Wolverhampton Wanderers and Coventry City in home pre-season games, it has now been confirmed that Rovers will also play two games away from home in July, one of them on the other side of the Irish Sea against Portadown.

After last weeks announcement of two home friendlies for Rovers against Championship opposition, we can now confirm that up to now Rovers will also make two away trips as part of their pre-season campaign.
Rovers will travel to Northern Ireland to face Portadown on Thursday 6th July and it is rumoured that there may be at least one other game lined up for Rovers in Northern Ireland with Glentoran the reported opponents although this has yet to be confirmed.
After the two previously announced home friendlies against Wolves and Coventry, Rovers will travel to Edgeley Park to face League Two side Stockport County on Saturday 29th July with a 3.00pm kick-off.

Weds 26th July Coventry City (H) 7.45pm
Sat 29th July Stockport County (A) 3.00pm
