It seems many Newcaste fans are cock a hoop that the player chose them ahead of Liverpool. Surely even they can see that the player went to them because he was offered more money and longer contract, which for some players would be a no brainer, ambition aside. Neither would it have helped to know he’d probably only be back up at Liverpool, whereas at Newcastle he’ll go straight in to the first team.
Most Reds fans are sick of free transfers now anyway, after years of this kind of trading under the last lot of owners; they were just bodies to fill out the squad and rarely made a name for themselves. Free transfers usually mean big signing on fees and high wages, Joe Cole for example, an unmitigated failure.
His lack of ambition and changing desire are not what we need here at all, so good luck to Mr Marveaux and Newcastle, no great loss to us though.

Question mark over his fitness ,was offered £40 grand a week ,wanted £60 .No big loss agree with article squad filler no more no less .New owners will splash the cash on quality but determined to cut back on wage bill .

Has the obsession with Man Utd worn off now they have more titles than you, and because they do not consider Liverpool rivals at all anymore, or also because you are so outside touch with the top four you consider us your biggest rivals,

Erm......this is a Liverpool board, not a geordie one. Who is it that's obsessed?
United fans and manager will always regard us as their rivals, just like we will them. Our biggest rivals have always been, and always will be, Everton Football Club.
Why in Gods name would you think your little club comes in to anyone's reckoning? Can't even remember the last time I read your board, let alone write on it.

Anyway, Mighty Mag is right and you spent plenty of time over on our site going on about how great you are/were.
You have answered your above questioned before it was asked......with your sh.itty little tag line which pops up at the bottom of your posts. If Everton and Man U were your main rivals then surely it would say something about them.
