Rovers’ Mystery Striker Bid

Doncaster Rovers have made a bid for an ‘unnamed’ yet proven, goalscorer.

The bid is believed to be a 6-figure-sum, and is expected to be funded by the ever-nearing sales of John McGrath and Morley.

 

Doncaster currently lie 11^th place, 6 points off a play-off spot Chairman Tim Ryan is showing plenty of ambition by hoping to get promoted for the 3^rd successive time.

 

Ryan said:

 

“We made a bid on Wednesday and have gone in with a much-improved offer for this proven striker.”

"I am not looking to make up the numbers but to be once again successful and make the play-offs."
