Kerkar signs 3 month deal

Kevin Keegan has handed Algerian trialist, Karim Kerkar, a 3 month contract at Maine Road. Kerkar, who impressed in his recent trial period with the club, has been given a further oppurtunity to claim a permanent deal with the club in a deal similar to the one given to Simon Colisimo last season.

Kerkar may find his chances limited however as Kevin Keegan has said that he cannot envisage a situation where Kerkar will figure in the team alongside his two established creative midfielders. Kerkar arrives on a free transfer from French club Le Havre. |
