Jon Macken has been ruled out until October at the earliest after pulling up in training last week. Macken's injury leaves City with just four fit strikers to choose from.
Macken Injury blowCity have been hit by the news that Jon Macken will be out until October at the earliest.Macken, who was expected to be fit and available for the Blackburn game, broke down in training last week. It is hoped that the injury will respond to treatment over the coming days but failing that Macken could well find himself facing surgery and a longer lay off. Macken’s injury, coupled with Paolo Wanchope’s, leaves Kevin Keegan with just four fit strikers to choose from, justifying his pre season decision to have six strikers on the books. |
