Dunne Suspended ... speculation as to why?

Richard Dunne has been suspended by City after commiting what the club describes as a "serious breach of discipline". Dunne's future at the club will be decided this week when the board meets to discuss the matter.

Speculation continues to mount as to the details of Dunne’s “serious breach of discipline” but it is thought highly likely that he had drunk a little too much yet again. Different reports have him out drinking on Thursday, Friday or Saturday night and turning up unfit the following day. Given that no announcement was made until Sunday and the seriousness of the charges levelled at him this site tends to believe that Dunne was out on Saturday night and turned up for match day duty in an unfit state. This assumption is based purely on speculation and rumours doing the rounds at yesterday’s game and is not necessarily a true representation of the facts that the club is yet to release. |
