Hamilton preview / Trialist

Motherwell are considering a move for freed Hamilton defender Ian Dobbins. Terry is hoping field the former ' Accies player as a trialist against his former club at Douglas Park in Saturdays friendly.
Ian, who has also played for Albion Rovers was freed by Hamilton after making 33 league appearances in the two seasons he spent at Douglas Park.
The 20 year old's agent Tom Callaghan said " The feedback I've had from Terry has been positive. He's a young player with a big future and must grab his chance. "
Adams
The match will be Motherwell's first official pre season match despite playing Airdrie United in a ' closed doors ' match on Tuesday night which Motherwell won 2 - 1 courtesy of two Derek Adams goals. Terry Butcher will only be minus James McFadden.

New Douglas Park
Hamilton manager Alan Maitland will be hoping for a win on his home debut to please the Accies supporters. He has signed a few of his former Clyde players to help Hamilton push for promotion and was rewarded with a 4 - 2 win over a Hearts XI on Thursday night, former Clyde striker Steve Convery got on the scoresheet twice.
