Lewis and Smith given Internationals call-ups

Preston North End duo Eddie Lewis and Andy Smith were today given international recognition as they were both called up for international duty.....

Both player's will turn out for their respective countries on Wednesday 9th February just four days after Preston tackle Coventry at Deepdale and three days before they travel to London to take on QPR.

Lewis has been re-called to the USA squad for their World cup qualifier against Trinadad & Tabago in Port of Spain.

Meanwhile if Andy Smith can prove his fitness to Northen Ireland boss Lawrie Sanchez he may well be lining up against Canada in a friendly at Windor Park.
