Training with the Chester

Two new players have been training with the Chester City squad today as Chester look to strenghten their squad so they can keep their place in League Two.

Swindon Town defender Andy Nicholas and former Hull City defender Craig Regan have been training with the Chester City squad today as Chester look to strengthen their weak defence which has cost them points recently as well as let their goal difference fall to a pitifull -25.

Chester chairman Steve Vaughen told the press that "things need to be lightened up at Chester in our current first team. The two players we have had training with us today will bring experience to the first team and lighten up the atmosphere around City."

The transfer deadline is in ten days, so these could be the final signings for Chester of the season.
