Bolton will celebrate another first next week as they will have their pre-season games in the Asia Cup screened live on Sky Television.

Along with the Wanderers the tournament also features Everton, Manchester City and the Thailand national team and proceedings will kick off on Wednesday at around 8pm local time (2pm BST).

Bolton begin their participation in the Far-East with a game against North West rivals Manchester City. The winner of that game will play in the final of the competition on the Saturday, with the losers of each semi-final lining up in a one off play off to see who gets third place.

The Trotters will include new signings El-Hadji Diouf and Ian Walker in their squad for the venture East.
