Ricardo Targets League Action

Bolton striker Ricardo Vaz-Te hopes to put a season of injury misery behind him following his vital goal in last night's UEFA Cup draw with Vitoria Guimaraes.

The Portuguese youngster struck with just two minutes of normal time remaining to rescue a point for the Wanderers after Vitoria had looked to have snatched a late win just moments earlier.

"I waited for my chance and I took it," Vaz-Te told the clubs official website

"I've been injured a few times this season and that has been frustrating. The worst thing was getting injured in training. I scored a few goals in the Reserves to get my chance and I was very pleased to score against Guimaraes to help the team.

The 19-year old is now hoping that he can force his way back into the Bolton team for the League campaign which continues this Sunday afternoon with a difficult trip to Fulham.

"I like the big stage and I want to score in the Premier League." added Vaz-Te
