Allardyce Buys A Round In

Sam Allardyce has given his Bolton players some time off from training following their win over local rivals Manchester City yesterday afternoon.

The Wanderers proved victorious by a two nil scoreline at the Reebok Stadium as Jared Borgetti and Kevin Nolan got the goals and now Allardyce has rewarded his decimated squad with a well earned rest.

"Big Sam" also promised to buy champagne for the players as a reward following their efforts in recent weeks.

"The first 12 bottles of champagne are on me. The players are off until Tuesday, they have worked so hard. Mind you, we cannot do much training as there are so few of us.

"They may as well go and enjoy themselves with their wives and girlfriends. They have earned it."
