Giannakopoulos Wins Player Of Month Award

Stelios Giannakopoulos has won the Walking Down The Manny Road Player of the Month for January after gaining the majority of the votes in a recent poll.

The Greek international has been in fine form since the turn of the year and has chipped in with vital goals in the games against Watford, Arsenal and Wigan Athletic.

Long serving Ricardo Gardner finished as the runner-up following a number of assured displays at left back with teenage right back/midfielder Joey O'Brien coming in third place.
