Deano Links Up With Weymouth

Former Bolton Wanderers striker Dean Holdsworth has dropped back out of the league to sign for Conference South leaders Weymouth..

The 37-year old Londoner had been the player/assistant manager at Derby County until earlier this month but both he and his ex-Bolton collegue Phil Brown where sacked after a run of poor results.

Weymouth chairman Martyn Harrison told the Western Daily Express that the surprise signing of Holdsworth would be another crucial step towards the club achieving promotion.
