Goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen has been named as the Walking Down The Manny Road player of the month for February after beating off strong competition from Ricardo Gardner and Kevin Nolan.

The Finnish international was nominated by the majority of voters in a recent poll conducted on the website for his impressive performances over the last month which included key saves in the games against Wigan Athletic, Arsenal and Olympique Marseille.

Reggae Boyz star Gardner was a close second having performed consistently well for over a month whilst skipper Nolan impressed many with his recent form in front of goal which nearly earned him an England call up.

The results of the poll are as follows:

Jussi Jaaskelainen 33%
Joey O'Brien 4%
Ricardo Gardner 29%
Tal Ben-Haim 0%
Bruno N'Gotty 0%
