Right first off the site has been down for the past month due to work and other things happening in my life so i will be updating the site over the next couple of days
Commercial News
With the 2005/06-season finished, our attentions quickly turn to the new 2006/07 season.
There are some excellent commercial opportunities to be had at Gravesend & Northfleet for the upcoming season.
Reservations are already being made to sponsor a game at The Fleet for next season; Prices start from just £500 to sponsor a game and enjoy The Fleet Experience
Matchday Magazine advertising is currently being booked; this is to ensure prime positions early. Prices range from £300 for a 1/8 Page to £1,200 for a Full Page Advert.
Pitchside Hoardings are also being reserved; prices start from just £250 ranging to £1,100 for a prime slot around the ground.
Matchball Sponsorship is also being reserved too you sponsor the matchball from just £300 a game.
Player Sponsorship packages are again being reserved; make sure you don’t miss out on sponsoring your favourite player.

Football in the Community
On the Community front, the scheme which has been running throughout the season has been a success. Full time players Ross Smith, Aaron Kerr, Danny Slatter, James Smith, Dan Glozier, Charlie MacDonald, Bobby Bowry, Scott Gooding, Craig Holloway, Mark Rawle, Ashley Fuller, Rob Watkins and Luke Moore have all attended school visits, handing out programmes, tickets and footballing tips to the pupils of over 15 schools in the Gravesham area. 649 children have come through the turnstiles since we started the scheme.
We can also now give the dates for our Summer Soccer Schools this year. We are running 3 weeks this summer, the dates of these weeks being as follows:
Week 1 – 24th – 28th July
Week 2 – 31st July – 4th August
Week 3 – 21st – 25th August.
All the sessions will run from 10am till 3pm, and are open to children between the ages of 5 and 13. Anyone wanting an application form should contact Rachel at the club (01474 533796), or editor@gnfc.co.uk, or Fleet Leisure.
Fleet Leisure Open Day
There will be an open day at Fleet Leisure on Saturday 13th May, Yes FA Cup final day. Liverpool vs. West Ham United will be LIVE on the big screen, and Fosters will be £1.80 a pint from 11am to 6pm.
Membership applications are available on the day.
Membership Rates are as follows:

Senior Citizen Single: £15
Senior Citizen Joint: £20
World Cup games at Fleet Leisure
Please don’t forget to redeem your tokens, which were issued in the matchday magazine during our World Cup Flashbacks. If you still have tokens to redeem, you can exchange them at Fleet Leisure on Saturday’s, between 10am and 2pm. If you haven’t been collecting the tokens, but would like to watch the games at Fleet Leisure, tickets are available for £2 per game, or £6 for a “season ticket”, and can be purchased from Fleet Leisure between April 29th and June 10th.
Meet the Fleet
Next season we will be running an exciting new scheme, open to all youth groups, including football teams, scouts, guides, etc. It’s called MEET THE FLEET, and incorporates a 2 hour training session, lunch at Fleet Leisure, entry to the ground for the Nationwide Conference fixture and matchday magazines. All for just £15 per child. There will also be the opportunity for one lucky member of the party to lead the teams out alongside the first team goalkeeper, as a unique “goalkeeper’s mascot”. Work on the Northfleet End
The works on the Northfleet end of the ground are provisionally expected to start in a fortnight’s time, with the initial enabling work being started. Once this is completed, the stand will be erected, and this will start no later than the end of June.
