Middlesbrough v Wigan Athletic Preview

Latics are without striker Emile Heskey for the trip to Middlesbrough after he picked up his fifth booking of the season during the victory at West Ham on Wednesday.

Latics are also still without the services of Arjan de Zeeuw (toe) and Matt Jackson is also a doubt (achilles). Antonio Valencia is fit after his hamstring problem.

 

Middlesbrough defender Robert Huth is out with a foot injury but captain George Boateng is available his four-match suspension was rescinded.

 

Lee Cattermole is banned after reaching five bookings for the season.
