Jewell denies another charge by FA

Paul Jewell today denied yet another charge by the FA relating to the Arsenal farce - sorry I mean game. Jewell has requested yet another hearing to explain himself over the same game he was charged with last month.

The charge this time is for improper conduct and / or bringing the game into disrepute.

Jewell, who was fined 2000 for confronting Dowd following the Arsenal defeat, has requested a personal hearing which will be scheduled in due course.

Jewell was furious after Wigan were denied a penalty when leading 1-0, a game they went on to lose 2-1 at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.

When are the FA ever going to leave Paul alone. This is the first time that Jewell has stepped out of line and he is now being hammered for it. Almost everybody who saw the game in the country - even some of the gooners agreed Mr Dowd's actions were totally abysmal.

Hopefully this will be the end of the matter for all involved.
