Under-fire boss Colin Calderwood has finally added a striker to the squad, over six months since the hunt began. Watford forward Will Hoskins has joined Forest on loan for the remainder of the season, with a view to a permanent move. He joins officially on Friday.

Forest will have the option to sign the player permanently for a pre-set fee, believed to be around £500,000.

Hoskins, 21, made his name at Rotherham before being snapped up by Watford.

The Nottingham-born striker has made only six starts for Aidy Boothroyd’s side, but scored four goals in 12 appearances during a loan spell with League One Millwall this season.
