On 28 minutes Richard Garcia had a chance with a header but he couldn't keep it down and West Brom survived another scare. Hull took the lead on 43 minutes, Ashbee found Mendy who darted into the box took the ball around Carson and slotted the ball into the net. Half time and it ended 1-0 to Hull at the break.

Just minutes later West Brom got a penalty Robert Koren was brought down by Zayatte, Chris Brunt stepped up and smashed the ball Past Duke who went the right way but couldn't keep it out. 2-2 with 17 minutes to play. A point probably not what either team wanted. The result means Hull now slip to 11th whilst West Brom remain bottom.
