
Hull Kick Off Pre season With Win

Hull kicked off pre season with a 6-0 thrashing of North Ferriby United at Church Road on Saturday lunchtime. Trialist Jerome Thomas opened the scoring on 33 minutes as he produced a cool low finish which would have given manager Phil Brown something to think about. it ended 1-0 to Hull at the break.
A completely different team emerged for the second half and city also
changed their strip from home to away. Hull doubled their lead on 53
minutes youngster Jamie Devitt was on hand to produce a low finish at the back post.
Hull made it 3-0 on 70 minutes through Nicky Featherson who rounded keeper Wilson before firing into an empty net. Caleb Folan made it 4-0 after a Steven Mouyokolo header was kept out, he smashed in the rebound. Nick Barmby made it 5 on 80 minutes before Folan scored again just a minute later to make it 6-0 and finish off a resounding victory.
George Boateng received the Billy Bly Memorial Trophy at the end of the
game and the Tigers now move on to their second game of the weekend
against Winterton Rangers on Sunday (KO 12noon).
