Brazilian To Sign Deal

Brazilian Midfielder Geovanni is set to sign a new 1 year deal with The Tigers. Hull boss Phil Brown revealed talks are at an advanced stage. Geo's contract was set to expire at the end of the season and it was believed he would return to Spain next season however it seems he has been persuaded to stay on at the KC.

"I'm at advanced stages with Geo and he's made reference to wanting to stay at Hull and in England, he's got nothing but positives to say about the club," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.

"I have had many, many conversations with Geovanni. He can sulk, but these players can take things personally at times when it's nothing personal.

"I understand the deal is that you're going to have spats with your players if you're passionate about your job and this club.

"That's probably a sign that they're passionate as well, so I don't have a problem with it."
