Brown signs up one more

Craig Brown has signed up one more player for next season with Steve Jennings signing for another year.

It is reported in the Evening Times today that Jennings joins Craigan, Lasley, Hammell and Saunders in committing to Motherwell for another season.

The Liverpudlian signed from Tranmere Rovers in the summer and had a troubled start to the season and rarely featured as he struggled to gain fitness under previous manager Jim Gannon.

Since the arrival of Craig Brown and Archie Knox he has been the heartbeat of the midfield, forming a formidable partnership with Keith Lasley. He was a major part of the unbeaten run that saw us qualify for the top six and push for a European place.

This leaves Brown the task of signing up Coke and Hateley for next season, and also the even more mammoth task of convincing Everton we should be allowed to keep Ruddy and Jutkiewicz for another year.....
