In the last week Stephen Craigan has won his 47th and 48th International caps for Northern Ireland.
When the remainder of our squad have been idle in recent weeks our skipper Stephen Craigan has been adding to his tally of International caps with Northern Ireland in two friendly matches.
He has also seen a bit of the world as the first game came last midweek with a 0-2 defeat away to Turkey before travelling to Chile for another defeat yesterday.
Stephen has been our most capped player for some time, now having 46 for Motherwell miles in front of Simo Valakari's 14 for Finland.
There is every likelihood he will pass 50 caps in the new season, and he could also become the first Well player to pass that milestone when he picks up his 52nd cap as his first two caps were during his time at Partick Thistle.
This would another great honour for Stephen who, of course, is still in his testimonial with a glamour game still to be arranged in the coming weeks.
