An overview of the transfer rumours currently making the rounds here in Nottingham, as well as our verdict on the likelihood of such moves taking place! Please leave your comments and let us know how you feel!

According to the guys over at Vital Football Forest are in the running for 19 year-old Norweigan left-back Joakim Vage Nilsen! The Scandanavian defender apparently has a shot on him similar to that of the great Stuart Pearce. FK Haugesund fans are determined that their team should not let him go for anything less than the £2.5m mark.

Our Verdict: 35% This seems somewhat at odds with Billy Davies statements as of late, with Davies suggesting recently in an interview that experience is the thing that will see the Reds into the promised land of the Premiership.

According to various Forest fan sites, out-of-favour (and usually out of position) forward Joe Garner could soon be on his way out! Rumour has it that the striker is looking for first team football and could be on his way to Doncaster Rovers.

Our Verdict: 75% Garner, for one reason or another, has barely featured in the starting XI this season which leads us to believe he is not too highly rated by Davies. This rumour has been echoed to me by various Doncaster Rovers fans that are generally in the know. This to me seems highly probable, and the funds raised could make way for...

Darren Pratley is apparently a big target for Davies at the minute. Rumour has it that Billy has suggested provided the Transfer Committee with a list of potential targets and that Pratley is right up there. The player has impressed for Swansea this season, who were in the running for a playoff place right up until the very end.

Our Verdict: 50% My heart says he'll be coming, but my head says that Swansea will be doing everything within their power to ensure that this talent stays there.

There has also been much talk about George Boyd returning to Nottingham Forest on a permanent transfer! However with his tenure here on loan proving largely unsuccessful how likely is that?

Our Verdict: 20%Whilst he was here, lack of fitness was given as the reason for his absence on the pitch. Peterborough are said to be looking for almost £3m to secure Boyd's talents. Whilst they obviously think highly of him we can't see Forest forking out that much for a player that lacks the pace to fit into the Forest set-up!

Other names being thrown about include Cardiff's Michael Chopra and free agent Robert Koren - two players that would certainly provide the Reds with useful... chops. ...Chops! Chopra... get it? Nevermind.
