Forest boss: "I don't want to sell Wes"

Steve Cotterill has made it clear that he does not want to sell Wes Morgan, following a bid from Leicester for the long serving defender.

Leicester City saw their bid rejected for the Forest man on Friday. Speaking prior to the game against West Ham on Saturday, the former Portsmouth boss made it clear that the sale of Big Wes was simply not on the agenda.

"I don't want to sell Wes, you've seen what happens when he comes into the back four.

"If we could keep him here and get all our defenders fit we're OK at the back, I don't need a defender if they're all fit, it would be nice not to sell anyone."

The manager had previously stated that he would sell to have to bring anyone new to the club this January due to the withdrawl of owner Nigel Doughty's financial backing. So far the only addition th esquad has been Marlon Harewood and the Reds have not sold any players.

For all his failings not a liar.

Wes wanted to go. The only thing not his fault.
