Newcastle United target Wilfried Bony is set to sign for Swansea according to the player’s agent Francis Kacou, however the news from his current club Vitesse Arnham is somewhat different. The Ivory Coast international scored 31 goals in 30 games last season for Vitesse (46 in 63 during his career) and has been linked with moves to Newcastle, Sunderland, Anzhi and Arsenal as well as Swansea City.
Kacou told Dutch newspaper de Gelderlander;
"Bony will go to Swansea. For how many years? We still have to work out that part. Hopefully more will be clear today."
However, the Vitesse official site ran the following statement;
"Various media have reported that Wilfried Bony is to transfer to Premier League club Swansea City. This message is incorrect.
There is admittedly much interest in the striker, the top scorer in the Eredivisie last season, and Swansea City are one of the interested clubs. However, a transfer is not the case."
Despite the statement reports continue to suggest that Swansea are winning the race and have agreed a £10m deal for the 24 year old striker which will be wrapped up in days.

How frustrating!
I just hope the bent rumours are not true if kinnear can screw his name up and scupper any deal that would go some way to making his appointment a little more easy to swallow
added on to that we will lose him to the acn every other year
