Turkish midfielder Emre could well be unveiled this week at Newcastle United, according to quotes direct from Italy. I meant to put this up last night when I found out about 9pm, but forgot! You probably already know this now...

It waffles a bit, but the rough translation is in the title, "Emre to be announced this week"

If you really do need a rough translation, here goes:

The transfer of Emre Belozoglu from inter to Newcastle United will be formalized this week.

When he returns from vacation Emre should sign for the Magpies, who would have paid out 6 million pounds to ensure the Turkish attacking midfielder.

Graeme Souness is currently in Turkey in talks with the 24-year-old, who's agent claimed that his future would be decided by Friday.  The 24-year-old will be playing his football in England next season, and if you trust the Italian news, it will be at St James' Park.

Emre's agent agent Bulut, said:  "He is back from holiday today and you will know by tomorrow which team he will be playing for next season.

"There are six teams in England who have asked about Emre. Emre is playing next season in England, for sure."
