Bellamy in Surprise Move

Craig Bellamy has surprised people by opting to move to Blackburn rovers over Aston Villa, Celtic and Everton.

The key factor in Bellamy’s choice is believed to be because of former Wales boss Mark Hughes, who Bellamy has a good relationship with.

The Welshman needs to pass a medical at Blackburn for the move to be completed.

Many are surprised as he has turned down Champions League football, but Celtic could not afford his wages, he wasn’t guaranteed first team football at Everton, so it was a straight choice between Villa and Blackburn.

This will be a major coup for Blackburn, as an era comes to an end for Bellamy at Newcastle, which had some high points and some more infamous low points.
