Team news ahead of Newcastle’s Inter-Toto Cup second leg match against Deportivo.

Newcastle need to win after losing 2-1 in Spain, otherwise there is no European football for the Magpies this season.

Jermaine Jenas returns from injury and Shola Ameobi also is recalled to the 18-man-squad after recovering from a hip injury.

New faces Scott Parker and Emre will feature at some point in the game, but Souness is yet to decide whether they will start, or be substituted on.

Craig Moore will not be eligible for selection.

Newcastle (from): Given, Carr, Babayaro, Boumsong, Taylor, Elliott, N'Zogbia, Jenas, Butt, Faye, Bowyer, Milner, Shearer, Emre, Parker, Brittain, Ramage, Viana.
