Ottmar Hitzfeld Campain Info

A campaign has started among hundreds of Newcastle fans to get former Bayern Munich manager Ottmar Hitzfeld in the managers post at St James Park.
Popular fan site Newcastle-Online set up its campaign for the German manager and a special website has been set up as well - http://www.hitzfeldforthetoon
Groups of fans from both sites have been in contact with media, hoping to get the HitzfeldForTheToon website promoted and sites such as Football365 and Wikopedia have already mentioned the site. They have also bombarded football call in shows with Emails, texts and calls. These include the BBCs 606 show on Radio 5 live in which the presenter Adrian Chiles was nearly reduced to tears with so many recommendations for the man.
The Three Legends show on Century Radio and You're On Sky Sports on Sky Sports 1 have also been targeted with fans, including myself, determined to to see the man in charge of the club. If you are a Newcastle fan then please join us in our campaign and get emailing as well as taking banners and posters to Newcastle matches.
The campaign being already mentioned on Sky Sports, BBC Radio, Century Radio, Football365 and the Idependent as well as other forms of media including now the Danish Media, shows our great intent. We are also lead to believe that the dossier of Hitzfeld (see below) has been sent to the club as well as the homes of Douglas Hall and Freddy Shepherd so check the post in the morning lads.

And may we add: We have recieved several e-mails recently asking that, if Hitzfeld was not appointed, would we support the manager who is? To clear things up, Hitzfeld is our preferred choice and we would love to see him appointed. We aim to make people aware of him, his achievements and just how great he could potentially be for us. However, if Freddy was to appoint somebody else then WE WILL SUPPORT HIM.
