Parker Played Before Trained

Newcastle United midfielder Scott Parker has revealed he played in games whilst he could not actually train because of a knee injury.

Parker has put in some excellent performances since returning from a knee injury, and fans couldn’t even notice he was not fully fit.

 

But although Parker has had to rest during the week, he has still been up for selection for matches.

 

Parker said:

 

"I came back quite early from the knee injury and I'm still not training fully because I'm getting a bit of pain from the knee,"
