Newcastle United caretaker manager Glenn Roeder insists his return to Premiership management has brought little pressure on him. Since taking over, Roeder has seen his side win four times and draw once, taking 10 league points out on a possible 12 i the process.

Glenn Roeder: "Honestly, I didn't think there was any pressure on me to start with.

"Where I have come from with a little bit of a health problem a couple of years back, I haven't got any pressure.

"I just want to do as well as I can, which I think I am; I think the players are doing as well as they can in the circumstances, and I think results have shown that, and certainly shown we are a team.

"We are all fighting for each other."
