Souness: I’m Unlucky

Souness believes he knew his time had come when Owen got injured.

 

Souness said:

 

"Given the nature of the job, I knew that day at Tottenham, when Michael got the injury, that it was always a matter of time for me,"

 

"It's something you think about when you're signing the contract on day one - I'm going to get sacked at some stage. Very few managers don't get the sack."

 

"I don't feel I did much wrong there. I think Lady Luck was not kind to me at all."
