Recent Town signing Cole Skuse says he is delighted with his start to life at Portman Road since signing on a free transfer from Bristol City over the summer.
Speaking to the Official Club Website, the midfielder said: “I’m really enjoying my time here. We’ve only been back a few days but I’ve been made to feel very welcome by everyone at the Club and I already feel settled. I've got myself a place and my family came up with me recently to have a look around the Club and everything seems perfect for me here.
“The lads have also been brilliant, the manager is good as gold and TC (Terry Connor) is very bubbly and lively in the mornings! When I came to speak to the manager in the summer I could sense the buzz around the place and you can still feel that now.
“From the moment I agreed to sign for Ipswich I’ve just been raring to go and after having a bit of an injury at the end of last season for Bristol City, I’m itching to get playing and I can’t wait to get started. We’ve got a trip to Ireland just round the corner with a game at the end of it and once that is here you can begin to feel the excitement of the season creeping up on you.”
