Here is a list of unique achievements for Chelsea fans to remind other lesser clubs about. West Ham supporters claim that their club won the 1966 World Cup! Nottingham Forest bang on about their 2 European Cups. Liverpoo bleat on about 5 European Cups. Arse-nil bore us about their doubles. ManUre like to mention their record as prolific English champions. Tottensham claim to be a successful club!

Well, pop pickers, Chelsea followers can and darn well should refer to the following:

1. Chelsea are the only British club to win three different European trophies.
 2. Chelsea are the first London club to win the Champions League.
 3. Chelsea are the first London club to appear in two Champions League finals.
 4. Chelsea have appeared in more European finals than any other London club.
 5. Chelsea hold the record for most points in a Premiership season: 95 in 2004-5.
 6. Chelsea hold the record for most goals in a Premiership season: 103 in 2009-10.
 7. Chelsea hold the second highest attendance record for league matches in England: 82,905 in October 1935
 8. This is the largest figure for a club in London and it is also the largest attendance for a team playing on their own ground.
 9. It was the visit of Chelsea in September 1930 which prompted Newcastle United’s highest ever crowd of 68,386.
 10. Chelsea have most wins in a Premiership season: 29 in 2004-5 and again in 2005-6!
 11. Chelsea are joint holders of most home wins in a Premiership season: 18 in 2005-6.
 12. Chelsea have the most away wins in a Premiership season: 15 in 2004-5.
 13. Chelsea have the most consecutive away wins in the Premiership: 11 in 2008.
 14. Chelsea have the most consecutive home matches without defeat in the Premiership: 86 from 2004 to 2008.
 15. Chelsea have been unbeaten at home in the most Premiership seasons: 2004-5,2005-6,2006-7, and 2007-8.
 16. Chelsea hold the record for the fewest goals conceded in a Premiership season: 15 in 2004-5.
 17. Chelsea hold the record for the fewest goals conceded away in a Premiership season: 9 in 2004-5.
 18. Chelsea hold the record for the best goal difference in a Premiership season: +71 in 2009-10.
 19. Chelsea hold the record for the most goals scored at home in a Premiership season: 68 in 2009-10.
 20. Chelsea hold the record for the most clean sheets in a Premiership season: 25 in 2004-5.
 21. Frank Lampard is the only person to score at least ten goals in ten consecutive Premiership seasons: from 2003-4 to 2012-13.
 22. Lampard is also the only person to score at least five goals in seventeen consecutive seasons: from 1997-8 to 2013-14.
 23. Petr Cech is the joint holder of the most Premiership clean sheets in one season: 21 in 2004-5.
 24. Chelsea were the only team to produce seven different goalscorers in the same Premiership match – against Aston Villa in December 2012.
 25. Peter Osgood is one of only nine players to score in every round from the third round through to the final of the FA Cup.
 26. Didier Drogba has scored in the most FA Cup finals: four in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2012.
 27. Ashley Cole has won the most FA Cup winner’s medals: seven [including four for Chelsea, and three others for some other team too!].
 28. [Oh and Vinnie Jones received the fastest-ever yellow card in English football, after three seconds against Sheffield United in 1992, so we're bloody hard too!]
 29. Chelsea have accumulated the most consecutive FA Cup matches without defeat (excluding defeat by a penalty shoot-out): 34 between January 2009 and April 2013. During this time they won the trophy three times (2009, 2010 and 2012). The penalty shoot-out loss was to Everton in January 2011.
 30. In six FA Cup campaigns from January 2007 to May 2012, Chelsea lost only one match out of 34 in normal play (including extra-time), to Barnsley in 2008.

There are probably other sources of club pride [or boasting] that could be produced, but this is a pretty impressive list for a club that was scorned foolishly by silly Kopites as having ‘no history’! Chelsea’s history is so over-laden with success [and a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs] that it could easily be the subject of a series of documentaries or even a Hollywood epic. Long live the Chelsea legend.
