A Near Perfect Weekend
Costa scores!

Nothing in life is perfect, but that weekend is as close as Chelsea could dare to hope for as they tormented Swansea and then sat back and watched while Arse-nil surprised us all with a clean sheet at the Etihad against a toothless Manchester Mercenaries? Will miracles ever cease? Now suddenly in the space of two weekends, the title race has witnessed Chelsea stallion gallop clear again of the ass from Manchester. Hee-haw.
As long as Chelsea can avoid defeat at home to Manchester Wannabes on the last day of the month, then the widespread feeling that Chelsea are champions-elect just might be valid after all. [I'm not yet convinced.] The champions will be formidable when their giants of Aguero, Kompany, Silva, and Yaya Toure all play in the same fixture. I'm not sure that has happened yet this season. Still money can't buy you good health. Meanwhile, Chelsea have the small matter of a trip to Liverpoo on Tuesday night. The red upstarts are gathering a little momentum of their own, so it would be a trifle unrealistic to expect them to cave in and concede five goals too. Or would it? Oh we can but dream.
