Player of the Week - Darren Dolan

Originally regarded as back-up goalie to Richie Barnard, keeper Darren Dolan made his East Stirlingshire debut on 3 October 2015, in a League 2 fixture at Shielfield Park in Tweedmouth. The Berwick Rangers match was the first of nine consecutive appearances by the twenty-three year old.    

Last Saturday’s local derby against Stirling Albion, in which he made a couple of notable first half saves from Albion’s Smith and Doris, was Darren’s eleventh appearance for the Shire since joining from Sauchie Juniors in July 2015.
