Shire Supports Charity Disco Night

A few weeks ago East Stirlingshire FC was approached by Charles Lawrence and Geraldine Lawrence. Mrs. Lawrence and her sister have organized a charity disco night in aid of the renal unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

Mrs. Lawrence’s mother attended the renal unit for fifteen years before she passed away on 1 April 2015. The charity disco night is being held to mark the first anniversary.

As part of the fund-raising effort, the club offered a chance to be a team mascot, two adult tickets and a signed ball. The winner was Jim Malcolm from Falkirk, whose grandfather played for East Stirlingshire in the 1930s.  Shire officials look forward to seeing Jim’s party at a match soon.
