Preview: Town –Coventry

STB brings you team news, manager previews, the officials and betting odds ahead of Towns game against Coventry City tonight (KO 7:45pm).

Town have just one injury and that is Owen Garvan who is still a long way off a return for Town.

 

Town manager Jim Magilton: “Coventry have threats, we know that, but it is important that we reinforce our own self-belief.

 

“We didn't start well on Saturday and I will be looking for us to go on the front foot from the off.

 

“They will be on a high but this is about us and what we do. I expect us to be confident and take the game to them.”

 

Coventry could hand Leon McKenzie his debut in place of Kevin Kyle who has a minor knock, David McNamee and Jay Tabb could return to the Coventry squad after injuries.

 

Coventry boss Micky Adams: “We will regroup and pick a side and system to suit us for Ipswich tomorrow night and we will go with great confidence.

 

“But it is great because we have got Wayne Andrews to come in, Leon McKenzie, Jay Tabb and David McNamee, so it is a good squad and people don't want to miss out.

 

“There is Dele Adebola as well, so there is real competition for places at the football club at long last - and it is good competition which I think will keep everyone on their toes.”
