Jim Rubbishes Reports

Town manager Jim Magilton has rubbished reports Town are keen on signing Rotherham striker Will Hoskins and Birmingham midfielder Neil Kilkenny.

Jim: “I've heard about the reports that we have contacted Rotherham with a bid for Hoskins but it's nonsense.

 

“He is a player that we are aware of and we have watched him but it's gone no further than that. We have certainly not made any contact with Rotherham about him.

 

“It's the same with Kilkenny. There is nothing in the story at all.

 

“We have identified a short list of players we are interested in and are moving forward.

 

“We are speaking to a couple of clubs and it's a case of waiting to see what follows.”

 

One of the players Jim is talking about could be George O’Callaghan, Jim added: “We are keen on George and are speaking to Cork but for the deal to work it will have to be the right one for us.”
