Klug: Praises Effort

Town’s assistant manager Bryan Klug has praised the effort of Town’s player after the 2-0 defeat against Leicester earlier today.

Klug: “We had the chances and in many ways it was a similar game to last week at Palace.

 

“We could and should have been ahead but defended badly at two corners and paid the price.

 

“We were missing two of our better headers of the ball in Jason and Alan Lee but the players we had out there should have been able to deal with the situations.

 

“The players worked hard enough and we won't criticise them for lack of effort. Jaime Peters did well, as he has done the last three or four home games but we need to start scoring goals.

 

“We've been on top in matches this season but not taken advantage of that and if you don't score during those times you often pay the price.”
