Miller Makes Switch

Tommy Miller has completed his return to Portman Road for the 3rd time, signing a two year contract with Town earlier today.
The 28-year-old left Town in 2005 to join his boyhood team Sunderland on a free transfer but his time at the Stadium of Light was not his best and he was released by the Black Cats at the end of last season, he had the chance to join other clubs but he took the chance to return to Town.
Tommy: "I spoke to a few other clubs but the opportunity to come back to Ipswich was always very appealing and it was an easy decision to make, Jim Magilton and the Chairman have some exciting plans for the Club and I'm looking forward to being part of them. I have some great memories of my time at Ipswich and hopefully there will be many more to come."
Town manager Jim Magilton said: "Tommy is a proven goalscorer from midfield and we are delighted to have him back at the Club. His arrival means we will have real competition for places in the middle of the park."
