Town have denied reports suggesting they have agreed a fee with Malaga for defender Cesar Navas.
Town have confirmed they have made an offer for the player who was on trial with Town during the summer but had to return to Spain after suffering a foot injury.
Town chief executive Derek Bowden: "We have made an offer to Malaga for Cesar Navas but we have not heard back from the player or the club,"
