Town Eyeing Loans

Town chief executive Derek Bowden says Town are still hoping to bring in loan players but expects nothing to happen in time for the game against Swansea at the weekend.

Town have been linked with several players over the past few weeks including former Town players Darren Ambrose, now at Charlton and Wayne Brown now at Hull City. While Mr Bowden has not named names he has confirmed Town's intention to sign more players.

Bowden: "We are actively looking at bringing in loan players but it is unlikely at the moment that we will have someone in place before the weekend."

Other players on Town's list of targets are thought to include Keith Gillespie and Gary McSheffrey.
