Town came from 1-0 down to earn a point against Scunthorpe at Glanford Park yesterday.

Town reverted to the side that beat Cardiff 2-0 last weekend with new loanee Jake Livermore starting on the bench.

The home side started brighter and took the lead after 30 minutes when David Mirfin heading past Marton Fulop.

Town came out a much improved side in the second half and the score was levelled by Jaime Peters in the 58th minute, Carlos Edwards found the Canadian on the edge of the box and a lucky deflection put Peters one on one with the Scunthorpe ‘keeper and he slotted into the net.

Both sides had chances to win it in the final stages, but neither side could. The draw sees Town drop to fourth in the league.
