Dale Roberts’ widow, Cheryl Roberts has expressed her thanks to the 24,000+ fans that turned up to her late husbands testimonial last night.

Dale Roberts’ widow, Cheryl Roberts has expressed her thanks to the 24,000+ fans that turned up to her late husbands testimonial last night.

Cheryl has said that: “Our family can't thank both the Town and Newcastle fans and the players from both clubs enough for providing a wonderful occasion.

“We were completely overwhelmed by the level of support shown by everyone on the night and it was great tribute to Dale.”.

The proceeds from last nights match will be spilt between Dale’s family and a local cancer charity.
