Ipswich Town striker Shefki Kuqi has rejected the chance to have a trial with Bundesliga side Hansa Rostock, but hasn’t ruled out the move.

Ipswich Town striker Shefki Kuqi has rejected the chance to have a trial with Bundesliga side Hansa Rostock, but hasn’t ruled out the move.

The 27 year old was granted permission to go on trial there for two days, but he has rejected the trial although a more permanent move has not been ruled out.

Ipswich boss Joe Royle has said that: “We received an approach from Hansa Rostock about Shefki and we gave clearance for him to go and spend a few days in Germany and see how he gets on, He has decided to stay here though but it seems that if Rostock firm up their interest, Shefki will talk to them about a permanent move.”.
