Ipswich town midfielder Tommy Miller is not being complacent ahead of the new season despite Ipswich having a small squad this season.

Ipswich town midfielder Tommy Miller is not being complacent ahead of the new season despite Ipswich having a thin squad this season.

The 25 year old believes that if the older players don’t perform on the pitch the youngsters will be more than ready to replace them.

Tommy has said that: “If we don't perform there are young lads coming through in all areas of the team, so that keeps the more experienced players on their toes and ensures they stay focused.

“I know the squad looks a bit bare if we have a few injuries, but the manager knows that too and he will have ways of dealing with that situation if it arises.

“He knows far better than anyone what is needed and I think we will see a few players coming in on loan deals to reinforce the squad.”.
